Exams Tips + Tricks!

Hello, everyone! How are you doing today? I hope you have had an amazing week! It is getting to be that time of year again where the last hurdle of the school year is approaching and that is the dreaded, exams. My exams start in a week which is super scary because this year has been a roller coaster to say the least and I've enjoyed it and I will miss all my friends. Anyway, I thought since revision is happening for many people at the moment, I thought I would give you guys some of my tips for getting through exams. Let's get to it!

1. Ask your teacher for a review package.
Depending if the teacher has time (which they should because it's their job to help students), ask them to make a revision package. For example, Maths. Ask your teacher for a list of paper of every topic that will be on the exams, a checklist to tick off what you have done/learned a list of formulas, a list of explanations/ how to's and a couple pages of questions. I promise this is the most useful thing ever and this works for every class and the packages can alter to each class as well as it being the best guideline ever.

2. Make a study table or make a checklist with everything you need to learn.
Making a study table with how long you're going to study for is a great way to learn for your tests as you know when and where you're gonna be studying. Personally, I work better with a checklist because I find it super satisfying just checking off what I have done plus I know that I have done what I have needed to do.

3. Keep healthy and rest well.
You might be thinking that I will be saying to exercise regularly/ eat well as well as getting a lot of sleep. Although I strongly believe in this, I mean this mentally. Take a deep breath. You need to not over think these exams. Think about your end goal and how amazing you have done. Also, keep your mind at ease, remember it's not the end of the world although you might think this at the time. Remember to take baby steps- I promise this will help you.

4. Make sure you get your things ready the night before. This includes your clothes, school bag and more importantly, all the exam equipment you need.

5. No distraction, and make sure to not procrastinate. This will make you super stressed out and watching t.v. and playing on your phone constantly will not help you. This will make you procrastinate which you should not do- ever! Start early and take baby steps.

That is all it from me today. Thank you ever so much for reading this post! What are your exam tips and tricks?   Make sure to comment them down below or tell me on all social media platforms @itsjustthatgir1. I hope you have an amazing week and thank you so much for following and being a part of this journey. It means the world to me. *All the hugs and squeezes!*
