Hey everyone! It's been so long! A month I would say? That doesnt matter now because I'm back and the last few weeks haven't been the best for me. I've been extremely busy and this past week, I have been studying because my exams are in a week and I've been studying although I feel like I haven't done enough and nothing has gone into my head but, today I'm gonna try to give you guys some tips and tricks on how to survive exams, tests etc.
1. Breathe
This is probably the most important. You have to remember that in order to keep yourself calm and focus. If you start to get stressed, stop and take a break and breathe because then you will be more focused and ready to revise.
2. Pace yourself
Don't leave anything to the last minute and procrastinate. That is the absolute worst and everyone knows it. Remember that studies have shown that if you do things in short chunks and take a 20 minute break in-between, you will focus more and be ready and efficient. Remember to start to study at least a week before your exams. During your exams, make sure you know what you are doing and that you tell yourself that you're gonna do well and make sure not to rush!
3. Make sure you're taking notes and everything is organised
This helped you way more than you might think. If your notes are organised, your mind will be organised. Plus, it just makes your life a whole lot easier.
4. Get rid of any distractions
This is easier said than done. Make sure to keep your phone away because most likely you're going to get notifications and it's scientifically proven that if you get distracted, it will take 15 minutes in order to get back into studying and being focused.
5. Do whatever, whenever and however you want to study
Only you can determine how you study and no one can tell you how. Take into consideration when your mind is best efficient. For example, I'm more efficient at night. Also take into consideration what type of learner you are and the best ways that you learn.
6. Ask questions!
Asking questions before your exam will help. The time before your exams is the time to improve so make sure to ask your teachers questions, especially if you don't understand something.
7. Stay healthy, be enthusiastic and stay happy!
This is probably the most important. If you're enthusiastic, then your mind will be more ready to study.
8. Drink water while taking the exam
Drinking helps you a lot, it calms you down and it gets your mind more focus so make sure to drink as much as possible.
9. Remember that everything will be ok
Remember this because if you get stressed or anything like that, it's not the end of the world. Just try your best and everything will be ok!
Thank you guys so much for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed reading it. Tell me if I have left out anything, if you have any tips for me, if you agree with anything that I said or if you just like my blog. Sorry this was a short one. I feel bad that I haven't been putting enough effort into these posts. I want you guys to help me out a bit. It's kinda hard doing 2 blog posts a week without knowing what you guys like to read and I want to know more about you guys. So please help me out and leave suggestions below. Also, about my big Q & A post that I have been talking about, I want to do it soon ( I'm sorry I have been saying that for ages for I haven't had enough questions) so please comment more questions for me! Also with my collab, I'm going to change it, I now want you guys to tell me why you like to read this blog and why you would like to collab with me and I will pick one of you guys. Just remember that you have to be able to collab with me and I will love it so much if I can collab with you! So remember those things.
