Hey people! Happy Friday! How have you guys been? I hope it is going super well! If it's not, just remember, its the weekend!!!! YAY! I am so happy for it to be a weekend and you will probably understand why if you read my last blog post. I also mentioned in my last blog post that I want to be more personal with you guys so today I'm going to tell you, what I want to be when I grow up. Hope you enjoy reading it!
I always get asked the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and to be honest, I also just shrug and say I don't know when really deep down inside, I know what I want to be but people think differently to what I think of my self. I feel like no one really knows me too well ( hence why I started an anonymous blog about me) and sometimes I'm just embarrassed and scared to what people will think of me but below I'm going to mention what I want to be when I grow up and no one will judge me!
1. Singer
I love to sing so incredibly much. I actually feel weird expressing this and putting it down somewhere because I haven't told anyone. I have never had a voice lesson but I just loved to sing! When I was 3, my parents bought me a play microphone and I remember my parents filming me and taking photos of me with that microphone. In the third grade, I didn't really love the girls in my class and they weren't very nice to me so in my break time, I would just walk around the play ground and sing. I always sang quietly to my self and if anyone came up to me I would just immediately stop. One day, the girls in my class were playing 'American Idol' (if you don't know what that show is, I'm sorry but you have been living under a rock and you need to research the show) and the girls asked me to be a girl version of Ryan Seacrest and I was like sure because I was bored. All the girls had their turns and then suddenly they asked me if I wanted to sing and I was like "Um YES!" so I sang 'We Found Love' by Rihanna. The girls thought I was amazing. I remember them whispering "Oh My Gosh she is so good!" and that just gave me the best confidence ever and I enjoyed singing in front of them. Ever since then, I have had this passion to sing. In the fourth grade, there was a choir which you would think I would enjoy. I hated it. Why? Well because, the songs were terrible, the teacher was crazy and it was just baby songs and it put pressure on me because I have always been an anxious person and when teachers would come near me to see if I was singing, (I sang very quietly because I was scared that people were gonna find out I could sing and then expect more from me and I liked keeping my voice a secret) I would just stop because I got scared and just froze. Obviously in the end of the year, I got a bad grade for choir but that was a long time ago now. I love to sing and one day, I hope that I will have the balls to decide to show people, I can actually sing.
2. Dance
I want to learn how to dance so incredibly much! When I was younger, I used to do ballet with my best friend and it was my favourite thing in the world. This was when I was about 3-5 years old. I was the best in my class and it was the best thing ever. I also used to do hip hop and I loved it so much as well just having so much fun! I only quit because my best friend did and I really wish I didn't because I want to learn how to do it so incredibly much now. My favourite show is dance moms but that isn't the reason why I want to dance because of the people on dance moms. I want to learn how to express my self as a person. I'm the type of person who shut my emotions off and just bottle it up and I want to learn how to get into something and make me learn how to express my self. Also I want to learn how to; stand a little taller, speak a little louder and have the confidence that dance brings you. I have been wanting this for nearly a year now and every night I have been stretching in my room secretly and trying to learn simple dance moves and I have been searching videos on youtube and I have been enjoying it so much. Again, I am kind of a tomboy and people don't expect it from me and my parents can't afford being able to pay for dance lessons and with dancers my age, they are so incredible but I know that if I work hard, I will able to impress people if I just learn how to do it because dance is so unique. I keep on playing situations in my head about things that would've happened if I learned to dance and I know that I have to speak soon before it gets too late!
3. Actress
I love acting and I am actually really good at it! Yet again, no one expects it from me being the anxious, stage fright person that I am. I love to entertain people and I just want to show people that yes I get anxious and stage fright but I can do this. Drama is actually my favourite subject and I know that, if I want to show people that I can act and do what I love to do, I have to take opportunity I have no matter if I'm anxious or not. There is so much more to why I want to act but those reasons are a bit too personal.
4. YouTuber
This job just seems so fun and amazing. I have decided to start a blog first before a youtube channel because I just don't have enough confidence in me to show my face on the internet yet and for everyone to hear my voice. My favourite thing to do is watch tons of youtube videos and I feel like its a place for me to escape and watch people live their lives on the internet and watch their amazing content. I am so inspired by the you tubers I watch because they are just amazing people who can mange to entertain millions of people while staying in their comfort zone which is something I would love to do. I love Zoella (Zoe Sugg). She is my absolute favourite and she inspires me so much that you wouldn't understand. She has helped me so much with my anxiety and I just love to know that she is there, behind my back because she suffers from anxiety too and she knows what it feels like and its something that no one can ever describe and yet, I don't even know her personally. I am so proud of her and one day, I hope to be like her, living my dream and just inspire people. The only thing that is stopping me is my anxiety but one day, I know I'm going to become a you tuber.
Those are all the things I would love to do when I grow up. Hopefully I can do all 4 if I'm lucky. It feels so nice just putting it somewhere else except for my head!
